Los Angeles Magazine just came out with its New-New Downtown Urban Adventurer’s Handbook. While the issue cover title is “51 Ways to Explore DTLA,” the L.A. Loft Blog is of course offering 52 Ways to Explore DTLA because real estate is a fantastic way to travel through and familiarize oneself with any neighborhood, especially Downtown L.A. And just when we thought that we’d one-upped Los Angeles Magazine, they’ve already added three additional ways to explore, so we’re now at 55 ways to explore Downtown LA.
A better title would be “Things to See and Do in Downtown Los Angeles.” The article starts with the restaurants and recreation spots of the Arts District, and includes several craft-brewering beer breweries. A bunch of rooftop restaurants and scenic perches give visitors a chance to observe everything in one sweep. Other neighborhood attractions include Chinatown’s renewed State Historic Park and Little Tokyo’s sushi stops. The hotels of the Historic Core and South Park, art houses and coffee roasters lure explorers along, where they can finally sit down and enjoy a classic film at the fancy historic theaters of the gilded age. | TOUR
