Lofts of Windows and Natural Light in Downtown Los Angeles

Live/work lofts in Downtown Los Angeles have the best location and building type on the planet. They have some other brilliant attributes.

For the interior, in addition to square footage, the most important criteria for a great investment and a desirable place to live are windows, natural light and view.  Check out the hot new listings of lofts with great windows at http://loftwindows.blogspot.com

The L.A. Loft Blog takes a closer look through the windows to discover what makes us feel good in our urban castles called lofts. Live/work industrial and historic residences tend to have larger windows thanks to their high ceilings and above-average construction methods.  Many were built during the Roaring 20’s when money was often thought to be plentiful. In Downtown Los Angeles, no other building exemplifies that period better than the Eastern Columbia.  Not all of the Eastern units have perfect lighting.  The building is surrounded by other tall buildings, and the loft condo units are large and deep, so the backs tend to get a bit dark.  But with a couple of decorative wall sconces in the back, and some upscale wallpaper, Eastern Columbia lofts can be top notch in bright feelings.
