Downtown Los Angeles starting in 2000 began a faze called centralization, meaning bringing people back from the suburbs to the city
Prior to 2000, DTLA was considered by many to be an unsafe, destitute, and a unknown place. That has changed.
With LA live, new lofts, cafes, bars etc., life in DTLA has begun to spring back to life.

Once a month, the second Thursday of the month, the ART WALK consists of Djs, live music, food trucks, vendors, flea markets, art galleries etc. — EM

The Art Walk is held in the Old Bank District on Spring street, between 3rd and 11th street.
