The Beijing developer is constructing the 3-building Oceanwide Plaza project, the company’s first North American project, on schedule to be finished in early 2019.  The exciting mixed-use complex is among the largest under way in LA county, with 504 condos, 166,000 sq ft of retail, plus the 184 room Park Hyatt hotel.

CallisonRTKL architects, the designers of 717 Olympic and L.A. Live, along with Kennedy Wilson for retail and other top of the line consultants have also teamed up to ensure the success of the project. OceanWide Plaza amenities will include a dog park, basketball court and jogging track. It will be like an oasis inside the city. Residential floor plans will lend both openness and privacy with well-separated bedrooms. The Chinese creators have put in great effort to fit the architecture and details to local desires and demands. The retail portion of the plaza is designed to really answer to the needs of the neighborhood with moderately high-end shops.
