On Your Mark.  Get Set.  Go!
Excitement is in the air. The race is on for DTLA properties as the countdown timer has started toward the multi-billion dollar preparations for the Olympics coming to town 10 years from now.  Loft Blog readers have already started calling to get advice on finding the best locations early for short-term rentals and long-term real estate opportunities for investors. They want to take advantage of the huge global event that will take place partly right here with venues in Downtown Los Angeles and surrounding communities.  #olympics #dtla #lofts

The L.A. Convention Center, Staples Center and Nokia Theater will host several competitive events, and the athlete will be staying in nearby USC Village, which will become Olympic Village.  Hotels will be booked up solid for weeks, with loft landlords reaping the financial benefits of loft-loving athletes, their relatives, and tens of thousands of fans who will descend on the Downtown LA Area.  Some of them will no-doubt fall in love with the walkable urban city center neighborhood that has radically improved and transformed since the last L.A. Olympic Games in 1984.

OLYMPIC LOFTS

There is currently no such building in the world called “Olympic Lofts,” so we’ve decided to imagine one.  Located let’s say at 2028 Olympic Blvd, it’s the awesome place where athletes and others can all stay as an alternative to the small dorm-like housing units of Olympic Villages where athletes have traditionally been expected to stay in cramped quarters. Imagine trying to get enough rest for the biggest competition in the world while stuffed into a student-sized bed that’s too small. Olympic lofts would be different, better, more stylish.

Named after nearby Olympic Boulevard, Olympic Lofts are in the imagined large lofty building with a super-upgraded gym, olympic size pool and large units with open spaces, high ceilings and oversized bathtubs, showers and furnishings such as full size to California King size beds for the grand athletes.  The cool, chic, hip style with historic industrial character will make the competitors feel truly on top of the world, and ready to take the gold.

Back to reality  —  What is really going to be the best investment to own before the Olympics come to town? We’re certainly excited that the 2028 Olympic Games are coming, and Los Angeles is already gearing up to serve as host city for the third time since 1932.  Downtown Los Angeles is certain to take center stage when it comes to temporary and permanent gains from visitors, business, infrastructure and new residents that will be attracted by the enormous event.  Compared to 1984, everyone will be blown away, surprised with joy at the strides that DTLA has made as a world-class destination.

Owners of lofts, condos and houses all around Downtown Los and the neighboring areas will benefits the most from the event, its housing needs and its lasting effects such as visitors who fall in love with the powerful variety of everything in L.A.

Studio City, Burbank, Hollywood, Pasadena, Reseda, Van Nuys, Long Beach, West Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Venice and Marina Del Rey will all boom as well. The L.A. Loft Blog is now geared up to help home buyers and investors to stake their early claim to the best real estate locations all over Los Angeles.
