Santee Court Apartments Downtown Los Angeles

Santee Court Apartments and Santee Village condos share quite a few amenities

ASK COREY

Q: Good Afternoon Corey! I’m looking to move in July, so I’m starting to kind of get a sense of what i should be looking for when the time comes. What is your opinion on Santee Court?

A: I can provide you with some information that may help you make a decision. Santee Court is a managed community rental apartment group of 4 buildings out of 7 neighboring “Santee” buildings that share amenities. The other 3 buildings comprise a condominium association called Santee Village, which often has loft condo units for sale and for lease.

Santee Court is a mixed-use development located in the Fashion District of Downtown Los Angeles. It consists of four buildings with a total of 168 loft-style apartments, ranging in size from approximately 500 to 1,200 square feet. The apartments feature open floor plans, high ceilings, and large windows. The complex also has a range of amenities, including a fitness center, rooftop pool and lounge, and a central courtyard with a fountain.

One of the advantages of living in Santee Court is its location. It is situated in the heart of downtown LA, which means that you will have easy access to a wide range of restaurants, bars, and entertainment options. The complex is also located close to several major highways, which makes it convenient for commuters.

However, like any apartment complex, Santee Court has its drawbacks. One of the most significant drawbacks is the cost of living. The rent for apartments in Santee Court is relatively high compared to other areas of Los Angeles. Additionally, parking in downtown LA can be challenging, and Santee Court charges extra for parking spaces. The location can also bring a down side as it is right across the corner from Skid Row.

Overall, Santee Court is a popular choice for those looking to live in downtown Los Angeles due to its location, amenities, and modern loft-style apartments. However, it is essential to consider your budget and parking needs before making a decision. See all types of Santee apartments on the Top Level Tour.

Industrial Live/Work Loft Open House

Known for its great views in nearly every unit, convenient covered parking and fashionable urban neighborhood, the Textile Building Lofts can be a very happy live-work residence when buyers are also aware of all of the issues.

A recently moved in tenant says, “It’s gorgeous!” She is a fan of architecture and historical qualities, the Textile Building Loft and Santee village Neighborhood are great visuals!

Another comment on the location by a resident states, “I love the city feel the neighborhood gives. The Building is located at the bottom of the fashion district and is about 10 mins walking to 2 local train stations and a whole string of restaurants and other festivities! ” | www.TextileLoftLA.com

As for the amenities in the building a fan says that many of the lofts in the Textile Building have amazing views and underground parking. The gym is nice but at least one resident believes that it could use more equipment. One big benefit that the other Santee buildings don’t offer: Textile is the Santee Village building that provides gated subterranean parking with every unit! Most other buildings in Santee only provide most parking spaces a block away in Skid Row 🙁 Textile’s exclusive 100% underground parking spaces are secret gems.

On the down side, this location in adjacent to homeless encampments that take up the whole sidewalk, and send lots of noise to the lower units. Some residents feel that this is an issue that the city should deal with — offer more housing options for those in need.

Rent Restrictions: The HOA has tried to limit the ability of owners to lease out their lofts, a potentially expensive inconvenience for homeowners who must move away, but prefer not to sell their loft.

Your Textile loft condo unit is set in a complete urban living community in LA’s Fashion District. The building and neighborhood provide endless opportunities for shopping, fashion, art, entertainment, fitness, relaxation and networking. Get more out of LA Life. The Loft building itself gets high marks but local street camping is an issue that needs to be addressed
