Hi, I just got a new job downtown and am trying to move closer to work. I have a small dog and can afford to pay 1100/m. My credit is good and I don’t need parking or a swimming pool or anything fancy. Pretty much just a bathroom and a locking door. Do you know of any raw spaces that I could rent? Thanks for your help! — Jessica
Hi Jessica, Thank you for your email. I certainly wish that we could provide more help to renters with places for $1,100 per month. Unfortunately, the average recent Downtown lease is $2,750 and the lowest that we’ve seen in 6 months was $1,300 for 460 sq ft at 215 7TH ST #609. Our team is not aware of anything cheaper, and we are busy helping renters above the $2,800 range. Renters at $1,100 per month will likely need to rent a place outside of Downtown and find a roommate on Craigslist or Roommates.com.
