The population is 80,048 and is known for good schools and a valuable cache of fixer-uppers that were built in the 1950s, with large back yards. Remodeled homes can be found, which have been recently improved and updated. It is bordered by Long Beach and Signal Hill neighborhood on the west and south. It’s also easy to access the Long Beach Airport, LGB. We like to call it the hot burbs because there are many residential real estate transactions happening in this idyllic Southland city.
