Indoor Amusement Park Opening in the Arts District Downtown Los Angeles

Step Right Up the Biggest Show in Downtown L.A.

Because Downtown’s Arts District is know for creativity, there’s no better location to build a super creative micro amusement park. Combining childish fun with mature challenges, and intrigue in a nerd heaven of creative technology, a fun, new Arts District entertainment venue explodes the concept of the entertainment venue.

Fun increases exponentially when it’s shared with others. After raising more than $6 million from investors, the brain child of entrepreneur Brent Bushnell and roboticist / inventor Eric Gradman attract kids and adults of all ages to play with old friends, and to make new friends with a variety of multiplayer games in a 50,000 sq ft fun center. The grand opening converts the traveling popup into a permanent abode open to the public with free admission to the pay-to-play fun.  #artsdistrict #dtla

The new entertainment business includes:  Classic Carnival Midway Games, Virtual Arcade, Virtual Reality, Story Room Escape Room, Starship Room, Mad Science, Quiz Games, Magic Robot Bartender Bar, Voice-controlled Lasers, Fire Dunk Tanks, and Battling Robot Bands and Burger Restaurant

Across the street from Toy Warehouse lofts and Biscuit Company lofts, the new venue opens September 7, 2018 at 634 Mateo St, Los Angeles, CA 90021.

The LA Fashion District spans many blocks in the Central, South and Southeast portions of Downtown Los Angeles. The neighborhood contains many retail, office and industrial buildings and businesses relating to apparel and accessories, textiles, flowers, even live/work lofts.

According to Discover LA, about 80% of the L.A. Fashion District is dedicated to wholesale business. However, retail shopping is an integral part of the district. The Fashion District is a bargain hunter’s paradise, with over 1,000 stores that sell to the general public at wholesale discounted prices. Shoppers can expect to find bargains of 30-70% off retail prices on apparel and accessories for the entire family. Retail stores in the Fashion District are independent, not the brand name or chain stores that you’ll find in a typical shopping mall. That said, some stores will carry many discounted brand names.

General business hours are Monday–Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays are the busiest days. Only about 30% of the stores are open on Sundays. Santee Alley and many stores around Santee Alley are open 365 days a year. To search for retail businesses by category and to contact stores directly, browse the Fashion District Directory.
