Little Tokyo Loft Dog Runs DTLA Lofts Respond to the Number One Requested Amenity Pet Services

Dog and Cat amenities are the #1 requested asset in DTLA Lofts and Condos for when the beach is too far

Looking for a pet-friendly building in DTLA is getting easier. More buildings are opening their doors and yards to our best friends. Little Tokyo Lofts for one, offers an onsite dog run to tenants’ best friends. As demand for this amenity grows, developers and property managers are getting more creative with their offerings. The dog run is not just a grassy area either. Tenants are requesting dog washing stations and bigger play areas. One Developer says in response to demand, “We’ll have tunnels the dogs can jump on and walk around.” #littletokyolofts

Such pet-friendly offerings are essential in dense downtown Los Angeles and Hollywood, where green spaces are few and far between. But they’re also cropping up throughout the city. So what pet amenities does your building offer? Leave a comment here.

“Dog-friendly amenities have become among the most requested amenity nationwide,” said a DTLA Property Manager. Developers are getting responsive about giving tenants what they want.

Close-in dog parks are another option if you can get away. One nearby DTLA park that is lightly used and is easy to access is at a dog park in South Pasadena just off the 110 Freeway. 650 Stoney Dr. South Pasadena, CA 91030 The Dog area is gated and tucked away out of sight from the main park. Restrooms and play areas are a bonus. Dog beaches are a nice day trip with one off-leash park area in Long Beach and another on leash state beach in Malibu. Keep in mind most LA county beaches do not allow pets.
