Downtown Los Angeles Crime Rises Again, Property Values Drop

Amid six years of festering crime, Downtown L.A. home prices and commercial properties drop like flies. #la #crime

The LA Loft Blog has been reporting nearly 24 months of falling urban home prices in the lofty neighborhoods in and around DTLA. Neighborhood walkability and value continues to be severely impaired by closed businesses and obstructed sidewalks.

LAPD patrol officers recently stated their concerns about these neighborhoods currently experiencing a high instance of crime and homelessness. The RV / homeless population has been increasing. There is a direct nexus to crime and homelessness in these areas.

We need Mayor Garcetti, Gil Cedillo and other community leaders to take appropriate action to remedy and prevent the crime, litter and dumping causing damage to the community.

What will happen when the middle class moves out of california?

Californians are moving away in droves.

EXODUS UPDATE | Blog Video

VIDEO

Wealthy conservatives are among the first to move away from California, but they’re not alone. A large chunk of the tax base is leaving with them. Inspired by an anti-work ethic and trend of free stuff, countless new homeless move in to enjoy incentives of free real estate, withdrawing more money from the tax base, increasing litter, dumping and crime, further tarnishing the cache of the once golden state. #california #exodus #2020

More Americans are now moving away from California than moving to the state. Once known as a magnet for those seeking to “go west,” CA is today losing its attraction, and gaining a reputation as repulsive. It turns out that million dollar homes surrounded with a prison essence by exploding homeless tent encampments does not make a compatible combination. High taxes are icing on the unaffordable cake. Without childbirth, the population of California would already be shrinking. The exit of top opinion leaders marks a snowballing pattern of exodus with no foreseen point of return. According to Joe Rogan, “People are just bailing.”

When the middle class leaves, the economy goes with it, leaving an empty shell of fiefdom. The American dream diminishes, replaced by a corrupt system of overlords, served by their lower-class serfs, who must begin to pay a premium surplus of rent, along with homage and fealty to their lords, while the sprawling destitute beg on the street.

The majority of businesses in California are today either suffering, restricted or completely out of business. Overseeing the exodus, the governor responds to frantic concerns and questions by answering with a pitch of gleaming optimism. With a destructive virtual one-party system, California now lacks the diversity of opinion and discipline that is required to turn the state around. Ceaseless panic peddling, hysteria and overreaction with extended lockdown means that California cannot have a great resurgence until after we get an adult in the room to reign in the lunatics running amok — the failing politicians. A new kind of guardian must then re-convince Californians that we have nothing to fear but fear itself.
