While the average American is out of shape, Downtowners and urbanites in general are some of the most fit people in the world.  They like to walk and stay in shape.  Staying fit in Downtown LA can be easier than the suburbs because most of the condos for sale and for lease are within short walking distance to so many great shops and entertainment venues.
