Downtown Los Angeles in 2021: It’s A Trip

What will this family uncover in Downtown L.A.?

Stranger Things in DTLA

As the Navarro family arrives in Downtown LA during the virus hysteria of the 2020s, DTLA resembles a modern-day urban ghost town. Half of the shops are closed and boarded up due to government-imposed lockdown. Fortunately, the wings murals are always open for some cool photos to put on Instagram and Facebook. That’s followed by Patxi’s Pizza, open for some delicious Chicago style deep dish pizza with outdoor dining, and then — something mysterious happened!

The highlight of their Downtown trip is the drive-into experience based on the hit Netflix show, Stranger Things! Designed for those who wish to avoid the “invisible enemy,” this brand new event concept lets you drive into the world of Hawkins, and unlock the secrets of the Upside Down. Fans of Stranger Things are sure to enjoy the experience, from the safety of their own car (under 7ft tall vehicles only), as they drive through an immersive environment, and park to watch scenes play out. Become part of the gang, while reliving some of the best moments from the Netflix series. Move through iconic sets, encounter favorite characters, and experience memorable scenes. Uncover the hidden secrets that reveal a sinister truth.

Masks are required while windows are rolled down. Located at Skylight ROW DTLA, the 1-hour immersive driving experience is recommended for ages 13+ and requires a car with a radio that has the ability to tune into FM. Snacks, soft drinks and themed merchandise are for sale contactless at the venue. Stranger Things: The Drive-Into Experience is at 777 Alameda St, Los Angeles, CA 90021
