Corey Chambers, Art Broker

Known as a real estate broker, art dealer Corey has also been a consignment seller of art for nearly 20 years.

In yesterday’s premium article called “Monetize Your Home,” I mentioned that most anyone can find valuables in their home to sell. This often includes art. Now that we are in the worst economic depression in recent history, many people find it necessary to sell personal belongings and household goods in order to keep enough cash on hand to survive the dark winter and beyond, plus gain extra cash to invest in the extremely good deals that a major economic crisis brings. Artwork is among the treasures that many people have, which we often don’t think of selling until times are tough. For many, now is one of those times. | Blog Video

Other valuables that can generate significant cash may include electronics, tools, musical instruments, expensive decor, cars, motorcycles, boats, precious metals, collectibles and other valuables. For art, the #1 key to determining value is the fame and desirability of the artist, and secondly, whether the work is a hand-crafted original, print or reproduction. For instance, a hand-painted Renoire will likely sell in the millions. A Calder screen print will likely go for around $1,000. A mass produced beautiful artwork by an unknown artist will usually sell for next to nothing.

I’ve been selling hundreds of thousands of dollars of art in conjunction with luxury homes. I’m just getting the word out that I’m willing to help people get more money out of their artwork and other valuables, even if they don’t have a home to sell. Offer ends Dec 31, 2020.

Corey Chambers as Manly Hardwood in New Short Film by Artist Brother Andy

Palm Springs, California-based, independent, underground multimedia company, Intriguism Moving Pictures (IMP), in association with Los Angeles-based Entar Entertainment, is pleased to announce the completion of the 33rd episode of the popular The Happy Hooligan comedy film series, “Manly Hardwood At Your Service!” starring the talented Corey Chambers in a role written for him. The off-the-wall plot involves an over-the-top, irrepressible, effeminate job applicant seeking employment in a doctor’s office.

The laugh-riot black-and-white short-form film pays homage to the classic comedies of 1920s/1930s Hollywood, and the obviously gay characters portrayed during that era, which are often seen as “offensive” by many viewers in today’s society. The “Manly Hardwood At Your Service” film is part of the IMP / Entar Entertainment’s growing library of eclectic art films, which can be seen for FREE, uncensored, exclusively at www.intriguism.com. Intriguism Moving Pictures / Entar Entertainment have partnered on over 470 co-productions in the last three decades, including feature-length movies, short films, music videos, and educational projects.

Iconoclastic film-maker, Brother Andy, wrote the original screenplay and served as Executive Producer, director, editor, and co-starred. Corey Chambers also served as Producer.

Chambers says, “Almost every line of the script is quotable — hilarious while making one biting social comment after another…It’s pure silly fun that also mirrors the horrendous stereotypes that were commonly exploited in early films. The film and the character I play will shock some people, for sure.”

Brother Andy retorts, “Mr. Chambers is an expert in various fields who does not have to challenge himself by being in films but he did it in this case for valid reasons. He is a bonafide leader and exemplifies how the creative mind looks for ways to connect, to share, to experience, to enlighten and educate. What on the surface may seem frivolous, in actuality is calculated risk, and with that comes reward you might not initially be aware of while committing to something that is outside your comfort zone. By confronting others and his own prejudices, fears, and limitations, Chambers seeks opportunities for personal and professional growth…Here, Chambers succeeds in educating and entertaining simultaneously…”

When the duo are not making art films, they’re each busy innovating in real estate and blockchain technologies. Chambers is a real estate broker, founder of Entar. He’s produced hundreds of videos, films, TV shows and webcasts over the last 30 years. Brother Andy is a pioneer of the intriguism art movement, interior designer and home renovation professional.
