Brother Andy says that Downtown Los Angeles represents the future of art.
His Grace invites us all to enter the world of a visionary. He is a Writer, Film-maker, Fine Artist, Interior Designer, Photographer and Fashionista. Provocative uber-artist (an artist skilled in over five different media), Brother Andy is a prolific auteur film-maker with over 350 films on Youtube, over 100,000 photographic images as a photgrapher, plus countless paintings and sculptures as a fine artist to his credit. His digital collage image, ‘Jesus Chimp’, is considered by some to be a masterpiece of the Intriguism Art Method (‘retro-futurism’), a creative process which he developed. The energetic creator produced highly-effective educational films for people with cognitive disabilities. A master interior decorator, brother andy helps Downtown loft owners to decorate to deliver a powerfully pleasing first impression and quickly improve the resale value when owners want to enhance the look and, feel and the ultimate selling price.
His background extends into feature films (producing hundreds of films, including six feature films in the last seven years as writer, producer, editor, and director), television (with appearances on ABC, local news stations in every Southern California major city), stage and live events, music videos and theme parks, as well as Visual Merchandising for several leading retail stores, private interior design clients and web site design. As an ‘artist whisperer’, Brother Andy has collaborated with hundreds of artists. He is also a strident advocate of nudism, feminism and animal rights. His motto is: ‘To educate and entertain, to encourage and inspire…’
The creative line for Downtown L.A. goes back to the 1970s. User-Artist Brother Andy says that the imaginative materials produced by Downtown LA are outside the box. He says Angelino artists are not deconstructionalists and not negative in their vision and works; rather they see and create a positive type of future in their artwork that is both abstratct and visionary. Compare the L.A. art scene to New York City where artists are trying harder to be seen, and contract it with artists of Europe who are busy trying to keep traditions going. His Grace says that the art culture of California is much more positive and it is about the experience. The works of Downtown artists more reflect the personality of the artists. California has so many things to do, thus myriad California adventures are part of the art. In fact, Andy says that the California state tourism board should make their next TV commercial about the artists of Downtown Los Angeles because they represent the essence of California reflecting through their work.
DTLA artists are cutting-edge, are not nasty or negative, but very upbeat according to His Grace. Beginning in the 1970s, California artists pioneered bright acrylics that are especially reflective and filled with light. Southern California, like Italy, features art infused with soft light. Artists worldwide come to Los Angeles for its natural light. Other key ingredients of the Downtown Los Angeles art scene are derived from the SoCal lifestyle: about the food, wine
— showing that the local area art is primarily about culture. Exploding in importance for the whole world, the Downtown L.A. art scene reflects a deep understanding of art and life, according to Brother Andy. He says that the new Broad Museum is different from museums of New York City and elsewhere because the modern art museum is traditional only in that it is an exhibition, and unlike traditional museums, the Broad is cutting edge regarding today’s lifestyle.
Artist Brother Andy was a pioneer in the fledgling haunted house industry of the 1970s, creating ghoulish comedy character Armando Creeper. The artist later went on to co-found a new art movement called Intriguism. See his new film just released called Dr. Invisible free online at https://youtu.be/UTxytPjkSQU.
EVENTS – Not To Be Missed: Special Appearance By Reclusive Uber-Artist, Brother Andy
Expect the unexpected! His Grace uber-artist Brother Andy, will make a live webcast appearance as a Special Guest of Honor, attending by video broadcast at real estate mogul and film producer Corey Chambers’ fiftieth celebration on Wednesday October 26, 2016 at 7 pm no-host dinner and drinks at Peking Tavern 806 S Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA 90014 (213) 988-8308 (Street Parking).
The gifted fine artist (“Jesus Chimp”), underground film-maker (“The Social”), and rebel fashionista will bless us with a live video “meet and greet.” This is as close as we can get for guests who wish a personal audience with His Grace. Mr. Chambers has acted as Patron of the Arts, creative collaborator, and personal confidant for the insightful guru Brother Andy for decades. Downtowners are very innovative people. They are the leading edge of cool. The Arts District in Downtown LA is arguably the most creative neighborhood on earth. Bunker Hill Loft 800 W 1st Street #2305, Los Angeles, CA 90012
The happiest condo in DTLA begings with magic in the extraordinary way that it makes you feel. For the Bunker Hill Loft, the renovated lofty luxury residential condominium unit #2305 in Downtown’s esteemed Bunker Hill Tower building, that feeling starts with the prime panoramic views that capture the whimsically designed Disney Concert Hall, its new neighbor, the Broad Museum, along with the growing skyscrapers of the Financial District. But even before that, visitors walk in to see an impressive open-concept kitchen with Sub-Zero style refrigerator and matching professional stainless steel appliances in the gourmet chef’s kitchen before bright windows with breathtaking south-facing views of Downtown’s skysrapers.
In addition to the stellar views, the authentic DTLA character comes from the cool, loft-style renovation of the unit’s interior. This includes a raised high ceiling and stripped floor to the original cement, now beautifully polished concrete. The result brings good vibes coming from modern style with hip combination of industrial style and modern luxury finish.
The final ingredient in the recipe for the perfectly balanced urban home: the luxury resort style master bathroom, which has been remodeled into OMG relaxation of a sprawling spa with hundreds of square feet of dual sink, luxury shower, separate large tub and gloriously expansive walk-in closet.
Add those supreme niceties to the greatest amenities of any condominium building in Downtown. The lucky and smart new owner will never need to leave the building until they want to experience the world’s greatest stage plays, classical music concerts and the world’s greatest new modern art at the Broad Museum — all of those just a quick walk away. The building provides gated free guest parking, two subterranean parking spaces, three storage spaces, 24-hour security front desk concierge doorman, resort-style swimming pool and hot tub spa, two tennis courts, BBQ barbecue picnic park, ping pong, pool table, recreation and meeting room, two gyms with men’s and women’s saunas, beauty salon, dry cleaner and convenience grocery store in the meticulously maintained building.
Because the building HOA that approved the renovation has indicated that they might not allow a similar construction in the future, this condo could find a future buyer offering many millions dollars to own this level of perfectly up-to-date urban home.
The timing is ideal. Just steps away, the new Bunker Hill Metro connector subway station is schedule to be completed soon, joining the upscale district directly to the creative energy of the Arts District neighborhood, along with the rest of the Los Angeles Metro rail system. Just blocks away, the tallest building west of the Mississippi will also be completed in the near future.
With all of these magical ingredients and so many reasons to love, love, love it, Bunker Hill Loft is missing one vital element: YOU!!! Come see the Bunker Hill Loft and discover how you and your lifestyle are a perfect fit for this 2,440 sq ft of high-living.

MillsActLA.com — Want to save a bundle on your property taxes while helping to maintain the authentic integrity of an historic California building? The Mills Act is a California law allowing cities to enter into contracts with the owners of historic buildings. Such contracts involve a reduction of property taxes (sometimes up to 66% or more) in exchange for the continued preservation of the property.
Mills Act Historical Property Contract Program
A formal agreement, generally known as a Mills Act or Historical Property Contract, is executed between the City of Los Angeles and property owners for a revolving ten-year term. Contracts are automatically renewed each year so that the term of the contract always extends for ten years. Builders and homeowners agree to restore, maintain, and protect the property in accordance with specific historic preservation standards and conditions identified in the contract. Periodic inspections by LA City and County officials ensure proper maintenance of the property. The City may impose penalties for breach of contract or failure to protect the historic property. The contract is transferred to new owners if the property is sold, and is binding to all successive owners. MILLS ACT DETAILS>> MORE

It represents the future of transport: ground-based travel at up to 800 miles per hour. From a station near your loft or condo, it will zoom you to San Francisco in 30 minutes. It is the Hyperloop, and it’s taking shape in Downtown Los Angeles.
The PhillyVoice reported back in August 2013 that Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk teamed up with SpaceX to publish a 57-page white paper detailing the design and technical features of a transportation system that would move at near supersonic speeds, improving safety and slashing costs. Wired Magazine reported this week that the project is getting more serious.
As a fully enclosed tube with a near vacuum state, the solar powered Hyperloop will be immune to stormy weather and bird strikes.
With plans donated by Tesla founder Elan Musk, several companies are teaming up with engineers from NASA, Boeing and SpaceX to turn the Hyperloop pipe dream transportation model in to a reality. Downtown Los Angeles is the epicenter of the design phase, and is envisioned to be a hub of the future supersonic tube network.
Located adjacent to the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles, Hyperloop Technologies is already leading the way as the headquarters of the engineering, development and fabrication center. Several established technology companies and investment firms are now joining the effort.
This enormous undertaking will give DTLA an even greater boost in its transition from transport desolation of the 80’s to the future world hub of travel technology. The world will flock to Downtown in a dramatic fashion for convenient access to this powerful new transportation system.
The Arts District #DTLA has already transitioned from a cheap, partially-abandoned center of blight to a world-famous destination of art, creativity, urban recreation and loft-centered dining.
