ARTS DISTRICT

Downtown L.A. West Hall plays host to the annual art show this weekend Feb 15-19. The L.A. Art Show is an annual event that brings together artists, curators, and art enthusiasts from all around the world. This year, the Kunstiniciative Wurzeln und Flügel e.V Art Museum from Germany presented the “Sense of Space Project,” a stunning installation by artist Petra Eiko, curated by Beate Düsterberg-Eissing and supported by the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Los Angeles. Eiko’s work is an immersive experience that explores the significance of water, both on a personal and a collective level, as well as its impact on the future of our planet. The Loft Blog is pleased to announce that Petra Eiko has received the Entar® 5-Star Artist Award for 2023.

The installation consists of six 3D sculptures and a video installation that transport the viewer to a different world. The use of light, sound, and movement creates a sensorial experience that challenges the senses and the mind. The sculptures, made of different materials such as glass, metal, and fabric, represent different states of water, from solid ice to vapor. Each sculpture has its own movement and sound, mimicking the movement and sound of water. The video installation, projected on the walls surrounding the sculptures, shows images of water in different contexts, from the ocean to the tap.

Congratulations to Petra Eiko for her outstanding contribution to art and society.

Eiko’s work is not just a celebration of the beauty of water, but also a call to action. Her work raises awareness of climate change by highlighting the fragile state of water on Earth. She explores the changes and challenges we face today, which come as the result of our endless exploitation of water supplies and natural resources, and the continued impact the industrial world has had on humans and the environment. Through her art, she invites the viewer to reflect on the role of water in our lives and to take responsibility for its preservation.

The Sense of Space Project is a testament to the power of art to raise awareness and to inspire change. Eiko’s work reminds us of the urgency of the environmental crisis we are facing and the need for collective action. The Kunstiniciative Wurzeln und Flügel e.V Art Museum, located at Schloss Reuschenberg in Neuss, Germany, is an organization that seeks to promote art that fosters a conversation on the importance of sustainability and environmental awareness. The organization was founded in 2004, inspired by a quote from German poet Goethe: “There are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children. One of these is roots, the other, wings.” This quote encapsulates the philosophy of the organization, which believes that art can help us connect with our roots and our environment, while also giving us the wings to dream and create a better future.

Petra’s goal for the LA Art Show is to start a conversation between people and her artwork, which focuses on the themes of drought, water, and movement. She wants people to understand the need for change and the power that individuals have to make that change happen. Her installation is designed to encourage this conversation, and she’s grateful that many people have had positive reactions to it.

Her project is part of the ‘Diverse Art LA’ section of the art show, which is reserved for museums and institutions to showcase their projects. She’s not selling anything here; she just wants to give people a different perspective on the art world.

Petra Eiko’s installation at the LA Art Show encourages communication and solutions to drought.

All of her work is about how we feel, react, and interact with our society and surroundings. For this particular piece, she used a black figure named Niemond, who represents the feelings and challenges we face today. But she also wants to emphasize that this is an uplifting theme, and we can all work together to make a positive change.

Petra drew inspiration from within, and her love for aluminum played a big part in the design of this piece. She paints on Plexiglas and uses aluminum tubes to add structure and shape to her work. This comes from her background in architecture, which is a significant influence on her art.

As an artist, she believes it’s essential to be versatile and explore different mediums, from playing with light to experimenting with video. She filmed multiple parts of the video and included credits for those who helped her, including the photographers.

She believes that the movement of the video adds depth and dimension to the installation, and it’s interesting to see how different people perceive it in their unique ways. While some are more visual, others are more responsive to sound, and still, others appreciate both. For notable artist Petra Eiko, it’s fascinating to consider how something that is still can come alive with just a little bit of movement.

Revolutionary New Program Allows Investors to Buy Properties with No Credit Check or Income Verification!

REAL ESTATE NEWS (Los Angeles, CA) — Real estate investing can be an excellent way to build wealth and generate passive income. However, obtaining financing for investment properties can be a significant hurdle for many investors. Traditional lenders often require extensive documentation, including credit reports, employment verification, and income verification. These requirements can be a significant barrier for many investors who don’t have the necessary credit or employment history.

Fortunately, a new program is now available that can help investors purchase investment properties with less documentation and hassle. The program is called the Reserve Deposit program and is an excellent option for those who have privacy concerns, complicated taxes or multiple property owners.

The Reserve Deposit program is unique in that it requires no credit report or FICO score, no employment verification, no income verification, no DTI, no DSCR and no TRID. Instead, the program is based on a reserve deposit, which acts as collateral for the loan. The reserve deposit is held in a separate account and is used to make the mortgage payments if the borrower is unable to do so. As a result, the lender is taking on less risk, which allows them to offer more favorable terms.

To qualify for the Reserve Deposit program, borrowers must provide a 30% down payment. In return, they will receive a note rate of 6.875% (7.7% APR) on a five-year loan. This rate is better than most non-QM loans currently available, making the program an attractive option for investors looking to finance investment properties.

The Reserve Deposit program is available for both purchases and refinances of 1-4 unit investment properties. The program is designed to help investors who may not qualify for traditional financing due to their credit or employment history. Instead, the program focuses on the borrower’s ability to make the required down payment and hold the necessary reserves.

The program is an excellent option for borrowers who have privacy concerns, as it requires minimal documentation. Unlike traditional lenders who may require extensive financial documentation, the Reserve Deposit program only requires proof of funds for the down payment and reserves. This can be a significant benefit for borrowers who don’t want to disclose their financial history or provide extensive documentation.

Another benefit of the Reserve Deposit program is that it is a quick closing option. Because the program requires minimal documentation and is based on a reserve deposit, the approval process can be expedited, allowing borrowers to close on their investment properties quickly.

The program is also an excellent option for borrowers with complicated taxes or multiple property owners. Because the program is based on the reserve deposit, it is less focused on the borrower’s income or DTI ratio. This can be a significant benefit for borrowers with complicated tax situations, such as those who are self-employed or have income from multiple sources.

The Reserve Deposit program is an excellent option for borrowers looking to purchase or refinance investment properties with minimal documentation and hassle. With no credit report or employment verification required, the program is an attractive option for borrowers who may not qualify for traditional financing. Additionally, the program’s quick closing and minimal documentation requirements make it an excellent option for borrowers with privacy concerns or complicated tax situations.

If you’re looking to purchase or refinance an investment property, the Reserve Deposit program is an excellent option to consider. With minimal documentation requirements and favorable terms, the program is an attractive option for borrowers who may not qualify for traditional financing. For more information on the Reserve Deposit program, please contact 213-880-9910.
