REAL ESTATE NEWS (Los Angeles, CA) — While that may seem like a shockingly mean title for a book, Jenette McCurdy is a comic actress, and also has a legit beef with her narcissistic mother who died a few years ago. The entertainer-turned-author grew up in the same neighborhoods as some of the writers of the L.A. Loft Blog — Los Angeles and Orange County. SONG | BOOK | HOME
In video interviews, Jennette gets emotional about the sad effects of her stage mom’s unwanted attention, and hollywood influences.
Jennette has been sharing a career of emotions stemming from life and early death of her pushy, show biz mom. She grew up with a financially struggling family in Orange County. Now, she lives in Los Angeles. Not long ago, she sold a very nice house in Studio City. Coming soon, the Loft Blog will reveal more about where Jennette has made her home.

REAL ESTATE NEWS (Los Angeles, CA) — The status of the well-known actress has taken a turn for the worse. The former girlfriend of Ellen Degeneris is in a coma, in extremely critical condition following a wild rampage and fiery collision in her blue Mini Cooper. Early accounts of her status may have been overly optimistic. The Loft Blog expects only a 50% chance of survival at best. If she survives, the Another World daytime drama actress will face an extremely long recovery period requiring many future skin grafts, other medical procedures and therapies. | VIDEO
Once the smiling heteroflexible girlfriend of Ellen Degeneris, the recently very troubled Heche was caught on several cameras driving like a bat out of hell, crashing into an apartment garage seemingly incoherent and uncooperative, then nearly running down woman on a sidewalk before exploding into a house, setting her car and the home ablaze, narrowly missing a second woman and her pets, who were in the home at the time. A bottle of alcoholic beverage was reportedly spotted in Anne’s car. The home was almost totally destroyed, but the pets were saved, including dogs and a turtle.
The small two-bedroom house was somewhat protected by a large hedge, which likely helped to slow down Heche’s car, allowing the home’s occupants to survive. Worth just over a million dollars, the 738 sq ft single family home is in the very desirable Mar Vista neighborhood by Venice, just steps away from parks and recreation centers.
Nearby similar small homes sit on lots that are around 5,000 sq ft. The home hit by Heche is on a 2,500 sq ft lot. Some of the neighboring homes have garages that are converted into additional living space. One nearby home on the street is currently listed for sale. Built in the early 1950s, these homes tend to have hardwood flooring. Spacious backyards in the area often feature covered patios. Near the Penmar Golf Course, the area is known for great public schools, trendy restaurants and cafes. Apart from being a short drive to Venice Beach, these homes are for anyone looking to immerse themselves in Southern California living. The neighborhood presents a great opportunity to bring to life a creative real estate vision.
