Be on the lookout! L.A.’s most dangerous fraudster has recently been reported scamming innocents in Minneapolis, St Paul, Brooklyn Park, Fridley and North Minneapolis. He has reportedly been defrauding people around hotels, gas stations, service stations and conveniences stores. It’s not a nickel or dime he’s after, this highly skilled, experienced confidence man takes advantage of emotions and dramatic promises to capture tens of thousands of dollars per victim. Able to lure and convince even the most sophisticated of individuals, Drew Donovan AKA Christian Andrews AKA Jimmy Wayne Jackson has made millions in his career of crime. He has used a combination of sob stories and promises of free cars, free real estate, paid bills and millions of dollars of fake free money from the bank. This combination of tugging heart strings by asking for help, followed by a phony offer of money and material possessions, can make a sucker out of even the most astute and well-intentioned persons. Donovan has been known to target all types of people including: young men, women with children, seniors and disabled. The convicted felon is suspected of drugging, kidnapping and rape. Stopping this kind of con artist can be challenging, and requires a concerted effort. Please report any sightings of Donovan to local police, and send details to fraud@laloftblog.com | MORE | COMMENT

READER COMMENT:
I used to live in a shitty apartment in Palms. One day this guy Drew shows up. He rented a room from this shady Lithuanian who was supposed to be the build superintendent but never did a thing around the building. They claimed they knew each other from church but I doubt either ever went to church.
The Lithuanian was never at the apartment. At first I never gave it much thought seeing people going in and out fo the apartment. This went on for months and then one day the Lithuanian left. I assumed Drew would have to leave as well. Seeing I was somewhat taking care of the building at that point I had to have a conversation with Drew. He made it clear that we couldn’t ask him to leave because he was a resident. He’d lived there long enough and gets mail there.
Then came his gay boyfriends. Drew would tell me how he dresses celebrities at Bloomingdales in Century City. I didn’t care but for whatever reason he had to keep mentioning that.
He had this one young Mexican boyfriend who was very proud of his lips. He had this big lips, odd. Him and a group of other guys moved in and took over the place. They’d do drugs and toss the waste out the windows. They set up video cameras to see who was coming in and around the building. Everyone else in the building was convinced they were running drugs from the place.
Drew eventually disappeared leaving these super sketchy looking people there. We eventually got them tossed out but it took a while.
The number I had for Drew was (424) 387-7894

Another thing about Drew.
One day he was crying claiming he was kidnapped and rapped in his car. Pacific Division (I have to think that’s who it was because they handled crimes in the area) interviewed him and me. This was probably early 2020 or late 2019 there abouts.
