Industrial Live Work Lofts offer Makers Savings and a Supportive Community in the Arts District

Mixed use buildings in DTLA are Ideal locations to set up a work from home Lease or purchase.

Creatives in the Arts District really like to be able to live and work in the same place. Not having to commute frees up your time for other things, say many in the community. Going home for lunch, running a load of laundry while you are in the office working. Being home when a vendor or delivery driver needs to get in during the day are all time-saving features of having a life and a job that occupy the same space.

Cutting expenses on commuting and needed a car is a huge plus on the side of working from home. Another savings to consider is more upfront. One should also extend to the amenities. If this is a business expense your choice of the building. You should wander to the less luxurious side of the street. To keep your expenses in check. Shy away from buildings with amenities like pools and on-site gyms that can save you hundreds of dollars a month on your HOA dues. Also, if you are setting up shop from home make sure you comply with permits for Los Angeles especially. Make sure you have all the appropriate licenses and keep good records. We suggest talking to a business set up professional to make sure you cover all your bases.

Working from home can offer balance to your life, or if you are a workaholic the perfect cocktail of time and location.

Downtown L.A. is a concentration of artists and free thinkers. The concentration offers residents a supportive community. In the suburbs, where everyone is isolated in their own house, the odd guy working from home with photography or music does not get much love from the community. However, makers have often commented they liked being around neighbors working on creative projects and pursuits not associated with the 9 -5 office culture.

Industrial Lofts have traditionally appealed to Makers, artists, and creatives who use a studio set up in the loft to make music or photography, even sculpture and light manufacturing. You’re getting a property that is zoned for business and often equipped for both living and working.

A more recent trend is Live/Work lite. Working from home has an expanding appeal for traditional office workers and desk jockeys. Making a living in an industrial loft is decidedly growing in the white-collar fields, A much easier separation between a home office and your home can be arranged in a loft space. It is obvious the art and the office are converging to make live-work living arrangements practical. #WFH #artsdistrictlofts

Bunker Hill Tower

Bunker Hill Tower Luxury Condominiums:  Present residence with amazing panoramic views. The building is prominently perched on its namesake Bunker hill. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring dramatic city views of the Downtown Los Angeles skyline to the Hollywood sign, Griffith Observatory, City Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Broad Museum and the mountains. Condo units are often available FOR SALE or FOR LEASE.

A visitor reviewed the building, and the staff has an eye towards leasing. He likes the staff, and the residents are friendly. However, he did note it was expensive.

I dare say that Bunker Hill Tower Condominiums is the best place to live.” This reviewer also pointed out the dues are high, but that is reflected in the 5-star maintenance and presentation of the whole building.

The building has a goldilocks position. It’s far from the crazy traffic and in walking distance to venues and restaurants that everyone else is trying to drive to. A nice gem in the middle of downtown.

The ground floor of the Bunker Hills Tower is rented as a commercial space. The instance of a store there gets top marks from one resident who says, The ground-floor store has almost everything, including a large wine collection. Another resident finds all the shops located in the ground floor complex handy. For example, a barbershop / beauty salon, an accountant, in addition to the small convenience store in the same complex, is convenient.

Most of the reviews mention the high dues to keep the building running smoothly and provide the front desk staff and 24-hour security. This is, of course, a Luxury Building. High dues are the cost of opulent living. All the reviews point to the conclusion if you can afford the best, make it Bunker Hill Tower

Many building amenities include gated guest parking, 24-hour security front desk concierge, 2 tennis courts, 2 fitness centers, resort-style heated pool, hot tub spa, men and women saunas, barbecue picnic area, recreation rooms, 2.5 acres of common area grounds with a rose garden.
