HUGE CRAIGSLIST RENTAL FRAUD CONTINUES – IDENTITIES STOLEN WITH NO END IN SIGHT

Several prospective Downtown renters have confirmed that their identities have been stolen by Craigslist fraudsters who continue to run a successful Craigslist rental fraud scheme nearly unimpeded.

craigslist-fraud-rental-scam-sky-1207With the help of Craigslist, anonymous phone numbers, anonymous fake rental application websites, and cleverly ripped-off lease listings copied from real trusted real estate agents, the fraudsters continue to steal and sell identities from those most desperate to rent a nice loft in Downtown for a bargain rate.  The demand is huge for affordable Downtown lofts, so the fraudsters have no problem luring many victims.
