Located on Main Street, between 6th and 7th Street, The Mercantile Lofts is central to Downtown’s plentiful restaurants, shops, famous pubs, entertainment and transportation. The Artisan House  bar, restaurant and market delivers food and drinks. Around the corner is Cole’s French Dip, one of the oldest operating restaurants in Los Angeles.  It contains a speakeasy right out of 1920’s prohibition era, now perfectly legal, but with the lingering excitement of its secret past.  The Historic Core is home base for hip urbanites, and it is a pleasant walk to the Arts District, Fashion District, Little Tokyo, Financial and South Park districts.

  1. Mercantile has some of the largest lofts in the Historic Core. They have big bright floor-to-ceiling windows, while there is usually a darker space near the back of the loft that is ideal for those who prefer a darker bed area or for controlled lighting.
