  1. Residents call Barker Block a nice place to live. Quiet yet close to cafes, restaurants, entertainment. Great freeway access as it is the closest Downtown location to the 5, 60 and 10 freeways. The pool area feels like a resort or fancy hotel, and the gym is excellent. The skyline views of downtown are beautiful and the neighbors are friendly. The only negative pointed out by residents is the diminishing street parking. With Urth Caffe at the corner, it can make parking pretty insane and competitive. So if you have lots of friends coming to visit it can be a bit of a problem.
