Long Established Artists & Fleas Arts District Flea Market coming up this weekend June 16th and held monthly on the third Saturday of the month. Artists & Fleas opened in DTLA’s nearby Arts District in the Summer of 2014, bringing its unique, curated market approach to a city rich with art and craft shows, fairs and venerable flea markets to create a mash-up of these environments. The market is situated in the emerging Arts District, an area teeming with studios, workspaces, fine restaurants, specialty coffee roasters, and a rapidly emerging culture of urban arts and arts exploration. Held the third weekend of every month in a former truck service station on Mateo Street, Artists & Fleas LA is a community event that showcases art, design and fashion alongside a selection of vintage and upcycled merchandise. Also present are some of LA’s most notable food trucks, makers’ workshops, and special events for the entire family.
